JMRI for British outline users

ModelRailroadForums.com is a free Model Railroad Discussion Forum and photo gallery. We cover all scales and sizes of model railroads. Online since 2002, it's one of the oldest and largest model railroad forums on the web. Whether you're a master model railroader or just getting started, you'll find something of interest here.

I've recently downloaded JMRI for the OPERATIONAL PRO aspect. As I read the manual online I was interested in giving it a go. Which I cannot now find, "LOCALE" TO choose "ENGLISH UK". As there is a big difference between an English 10 foot wheelbase to a small U.S. 40 foot car!

If I can get some illumination in how to make the change I will carry on a give it a reasonable go, otherwise back to writing the waybills I was about to start preparing. Cheers for any guidance.

I'm pretty sure you specific the car and track sizes in the system, so it's all relative.

Is there another difference(s) that I'm missing that changes how you need to use it? As long as you can enter the initials/numbers, you should be good to go?

Thanks Chris. I am feeding in the data. But when I installed on my PC, after trying on the old lap top, I found before you do anything on start-up locale is on the tool bar. After you leave that screen I haven't found it again.
