I was set on HO and went the switching route. I built a shelf layout in the shape of an L in my room. each section is 8 feet long by 15 inches wide. I feel ya. I love Amtrak and the radius needed to prototypically clear curves is too big for my space.

I'm going to be ripping up a good portion of the first section of the layout to place a train platform for passenger and do a little expanding on the freight side. Brace yourselves... I hate tearing up an essentially finished scene but I'll get over it lol
Dang. My last post was a whole year ago today. I really have been MIA from this forum and my layout.
There are some changes coming as I am now able to spend some more time on it. Feel bad for neglecting it. Just did a hard scrub of my rails and man was there some grime. Locos were stalling...
