The 4063 is a DC power Pack. Itt goes back to 1973 . It came in the Lazer Set. Another Power Pack from that era was the 4660. They look like a common HO power Pack. Black case, red throttle, except Lionel is embossed on it.
The early 60's has four transformers numbered 0100,0101,0104, and 0105
The two on the right had AC counterparts with different numbers.
I had no idea Lionel had so much DC equipment.
Years ago I bought a CD set for manuals and it contained choice Lionel catalogs from 1923 to 1964. Including thr 36 and 56 Instruction mauals. The DC came on the scene in 1940ish

You can compare it to American Flyer when they produced O gage trains for a short period. The engines hav a 500 number.
That is something I never thought of looking for at a train show. Just a reason to look at the HO tables!
