Training video for RPO employees. The best part is the last 2 minutes where they drop mail and pick up mail "on the fly". Some B & O rail footage.

Watched as I was eating lunch. Quaint but very interesting video. Lot's of cab unit action at the beginning. Most interesting is that they were all armed. I liked the last part as well.

I used to watch that exchange of mail on the Cotton Belt (SLSW ) when the Western bound train passed through town.
One PA unit, Two Baggage, One RPO, and Three passenger cars doing about 60-65 mph.
I think of the cliche about the disgruntled postal worker shooting up his workplace. Can you imagine all postal workers wearing sidearms today?
