Because buying boxes for my postwar F3 sets. would be very expensive. SoI built two boxes out of quarter inch ply. added closed cell foam for cushion. Now they are secured well protected while in storage. The plastic bags are sandwich bags for subs and hoagies .

Isn't it funny that one can make some really good wooden boxes for cheaper than the new replacement cardboard ones.
