Hello fellow modelers,

I am not sure if this is the right forum for this question, so I will move it if I need to. I would like to create a mimic panel to manage my switch matrix but I have never put one together. I am not sure how to layout the panel in the most simple design that would provide an intuitive view of my two mainline, two reversing loop design, it will have a yard and a turntable. Are there any teaching tools, websites, books that I have yet to uncover that provides any information on setting up the panel design. The lights and the buttons I can do, but the visual is confusing me with essentially four loops and I have not found any information on mimic panel layouts.

The site is called Jonroma.net and they have signal plans for numerous actual roads, could be adapted to fit your requirements. I picked a NP plan since that is what I model.
