Hey guys! Had some free time yesterday morning 3/8/17. Woke up and found out the Chief was running about 5 1/2 hours late into SoCal area. This is a nice treat for us here due to the train arriving in the early morning hours with poor lighting conditions. Grabbed a few videos at some special spots around here. Hope you all enjoy!

AmTrack running late ????? Noooooo Grin.gif

Jokes aside, nice video. AmTrack cancelled passenger service through our area years ago and we don't see many passenger trains any more.

Since Southwest Chief comes from Chicago it's not that unusual to see it in daylight hours in SoCal. And most of the way it's on freight RR tracks!
