Took a trip Girand Il today along the former CNW Route that went into St Louis.
This is some sort of product elevator, I didn't see any identifying factors.
The line is now concrete ties due to it being on the UP Springfield Subdivision, with amtrak and high-speed intermoble.
A special vistor was in town too, the Union Pacifics Big Boy. My first experience of the locomotive, she sure is a beauty.
Saw all the goodies too, figured I'd see the NS units too but no luck.
Overall it was super neat.
