    This one illustrates the dirt/soot dichotomy, note that the pooling isn't strong because the unit is operating in a very dry climate.

    I would paint the nose yellow before the first clear coat, if you're doing that. The layer before the decals go on should be a clear gloss not flat. Also shave off the two class light housings with an exacto knife first, they don't exist on the prototype. It's an easy mod. If you feel ambitious...
