The "Last Bridge" would probably work in a real life setting, BUT, it just looks like it needs a few piers to help support the weight of an engine and a couple of ore cars. I really like your use of the scultamold on this type scenery. Really works well. -Chris -

Personally, I like them exactly as you have them now. Arid country, 1901, lines like this did not have a lot of money to spend on small income producing short lines. It was usually get them up and running as fast as possible. Wood in the rock is the way I would go. I like the slope or the... -

Maybe the mountain is to big, maybe it's not. I think you can still use your Sculptamold for the overall coverage and then come back with some hydrocal rock mold outcroppings. Hydrocal would give a more realistic look to the actual rock and still use the Sculptamold for basic coverage. I... -

I like the way the siding or from the mine tracks destination is hidden from view. Although it dead ends in the mountain or mine area, you can't tell until you walk up and look over the mountain. I think that a wonderful way to keep the viewer guessing or at least wondering where the track... -

WaltP, when I had a gift shop in Colorado, we had pewter figures that were used to decorate fools gold, geodes, etc. Jim your coming along nicely. -

I still love those little bobber cabooses, they really add that special look of an older train system. Your back corner addition looks very realistic by including the cuts. The sparse landscaping adds to that semi-arid feel. - Chris -
