    Maybe someone is doing construction somewhere close. See if you can get some scrap plywood. The less they load in a dumpster is less they have to pay at the dump. I’ve got some scraps hidden away at work for just that reason. 😈😈

    This is exactly why a layout is never completed. There’s always something to add, refresh or tinker around with. Impatiently awaiting to start mine. Already told SWMBO that she can do whatever she wants, no questions asked, once I start mine. Guess I’ll have to start walking the dog she wants. 😁😁

    Tony is living the Boy Scout Motto…Be Prepared! It’s nice to reach over and grab a spare whatever you’re working on than waiting for it to arrive. Usually when I have to wait for something to come in, it’s a moment killer for me.

    Once you blend it in wherever you plan on putting it, you’ll never notice the difference. Just my opinion but a jetty wouldn’t have the curve in it. Normally they just angle straight down to the dock.

    Hopefully you’ll consider wider boards. The last arched foot bridge I crossed had rough cut 2x8 as footboards. In my travels, I saw one bridge with random sized boards. Use what you have to get the job done.

    Currently sitting in the waiting area awaiting the birth of a grandson. It’s the hurry up and wait game. But you all know that Grandpa is going to be instilling trains…one way or another into his life. Maybe then we can have another generation to keep the hobby going. Will update when I can.

    There’s a listing on eBay for a assembled radio tower. Already painted. It looks to be high enough but short enough to prevent accidental Godzilla knockdowns.
