    Look for an Athearn Super Geared loco on ebay. They have a giant weight inside and all wheel pickup.

    logandsawman I've got two Varney 10-wheelers, DCC with sound and can motor. Just fixed the number on one tonight, some how I had different loco numbers on the cab.

    5x7 is good. Make sure the trackwork in the hard to reach areas is perfect.

    Good morning from NJ School almost out, my bus driving days will be over soon. Selling of my film camera equipment, getting pennies on a dollar. A camera sold for $255 in 1954 Equate to 2022 dollars $2760.00 On ebay today. $73.00. Coffee is still good.

    How to program a locomotive in JMRI

    Yes, lots of unanswered questions. Is JMRI connected to hardware via USB port or serial port? Is PC connected to Arduino? Does Arduino have a power supply?

    LED Directional Polarity Question

    My problem. Built a turntable with a small control house on it. Put a LED inside, direct wired to the TT track, glued it all up. When my layout was DC, the LED worked fine, indicating track direction, LED on, pull loco on to TT. LED off, loco goes other way. Now I'm DCC, and the LED flashes :mad:
