    Tired of paying 40-$50 for a freight car?

    I pretty much stopped buying freight cars… A) I don’t “need” them B) The price on new stock is entering priced out of the market territory for me Sometimes I will pick up 2nd hand on eBay…but even those days are few and far between now

    For example.. A) I like box cars, covered hoppers, tank cars…not big on flat cars, bulkhead flats, coil steel cars B) I like CN, Santa Fe, Rio Grande, Burlington Northern…no love for CP, Conrail, EL, NW, MKT

    Happy “BLUE” Thanksgiving

    “Finished” painting the 4th and last car this AM…started at 09:00 finished about 10:30 Fade was done on Wednesday .. dilute Tamiya Flat White with some Deck Tan and Japanese Army Grey added.. Oil wash/streaking today and Tamiya Clear Flat and some Ammo Track Rust pigment.. Tamiya grime mix on...
