No electrical issues. Strictly a derailment issue. I think maybe it wasn’t level. If you aren’t having issues now right after installation, you are probably ok.
-
It was a Peco.
Most likely it was an installation problem or a point rail gauge issue. At the end of the day, I couldn’t make it work or get to the root of the problem.

After spending too much time trying to make the curved turnout work, and couldn’t - I ripped the thing out.
I am in the process of putting the 3-way turnout in its spot. We will see how it works out! Fingers crossed!
The only downside to minimize the amount of track I had to rip out I will...

You are correct. But the insulated joints I have I the two locations are for the reverse loop.
-
It might be climbing the point.

Measuring between the two stock rails and the Center of the frogs seem equally distanced.

So I cleaned up so wiring under the layout on the weekend.
Also bent the point on my curved turnout a bit. No longer derailing at the point. Now derailing after the frog when it passes the guard rail.

So the first challenge I am tackling is the derailment on the curved PECO turnout. As mentioned the 6 axle EMD SD7 is having issues derailing going into the curved turnout. It can trail through the switch properly.
It appears the point rail is tight gauge. I don't have a NMRA gauge but used...

So I installed my new AR1 last night for the reversing loop. It was working fine but I started having my DCC++ base station power shutting off.
I corrected that problem.
My shorter 4 axle Atlas C425 loco has no issues going through the reverse loop. My 6 axle EMD SD7 is having more issues. It...

So I installed my new AR1 last night for the reversing loop. It was working fine but I started having my DCC++ base station power shutting off.
I turned up the current in the program from 800mA output to 1.6 A. Using the following code change in the CurrentMonitor.h subroutine. I then...

Well I was able to get my two locomotives working!
For some reason the USB port ttyAMCO didn’t show up as an option. After one of the reboots it decided to show up.
I was able to read the CV values of the locomotives and now it’s working.
I have a compact keyboard and am using a projector...

So I scrapped the computer idea.
DCC++ and JMRI set up.
So I finally got my Raspberry Pi and DCC++ set up.
Wi Throttle is also set up and seems to be communicating with JMRI.
It appears that on Panel Pro is in the JMRI version I have in the set up doesn’t have Decoder pro.
Problems I have...

So I installed Java and JMRI on our home theatre computer and it went without a hitch. The only problem is it is on the other end of the house. I have tried and retried 15 times to install Java and JMRI on the laptop that I need with no success. I am pretty sure it is a Java issue. I have tried...

Is there a website or only email?

I don’t think it’s the USB driver because I was able to load the sketch to the Arduino board for DCC++ through it.

Now that my turnout Arduino work has progressed to the working point, I am turning some attention to getting DCC++ up and running.
So far, I have DCC++ working on an Arduino UNO and the motor shield and power supply working bas on the tests I have learned from a YouTube video.
So my next...

So a bit of an update on my programming enhancements I the latest version
1 - put the last servo position in eeprom memory so it doesn’t get lost when you reset or power down.
COMPLETED
2 - put a programming mode for controlling the limits of each turnout servo throw to not over travel the...

Here is the semi completed turnout control panel. Just stuck on with 2-way tape at the moment. Need to put the lines on for the track layout still and permanently mount it.
I am thinking automotive pin striping at the moment. Any ideas?
