    Sawmill complex

    Very nice structure. I have been away from the hobby for a number of years and recently began building a new layout. I just finished 2 wood kits. I think they are far superior to the plastic kits I used to buy.

    DCC suggestions

    I entered the DCC world with a MRC Prodigy Advance system. I like it. Very easy to use. I too would like to install some decoders in my older loco's but I am scared about blowing up a new decoder. they aren't cheap.

    preserving lichen ????

    I found the mother lode of lichen while out hunting the other day. Is there a way to preserve the stuff. Years ago I found some and brought it home but it just dried out and disintegrated. I am hoping there is something that can be sprayed on to preserve the stuff.
