    the scrap bailer

    I am building a scrap yard on my layout and i was half way though when i realized that no one built a metal bailer or a shredder so i decided to make one. i was wondering now after i finished it if i should use it or keep looking for one :D

    Ballast - would you do it this way?

    i took cat litter picked the blue stuff out and crushed it in a plastic bag with my shop press so i think your idea isnt to far off i am cheap but it really doesnt matter as long as you like it

    thanks for that most people frown at the fact of using them but i weather them a bit and they look good to me so i will continue to use them

    i noticed the other day that ho scale semi trucks are about the same size as my cars. this problem is also in the hotwheel trucks to so i was wondering if anyone thinks that using hotwheel trucks with ho cars would work meanings that the hotwheels semi trucks are bigger than the ho cars but...
