    Those were the WS risers newspaper balls and plaster cloth. first time i ever used that stuff . was diehard foam man but ive been sold on this tecnique it wors out a whole lot better.:D

What i did was took the WS scenery glue and went down the side of the gray on the track then brushed it with a paint brush. 2nd . lightly poured the fine and mediun ballast on the glue and let it just fall down beside the...

    Was anybody else watching those NS locomotives that dans trains had ? Saw 2 Kato straight dc units sell for almost 200.00 bucks ! WOW! Can you beleive these prices people are paying right now? You can buy new Kato units cheaper than that cant ya?

    Questions on laying down the track

    I would glue it down myself i did mine and make sure you used liquid nails for projects . the other ones will eat your foam. just make sure that where you want it cause liqiud nails is hard to get back up

    I have always wondered about that myself larry . I am like you I think it is a scam people have cooked up to drive the bid up on the item for auction . I watch ebay quite a lot and see items that we as hobbiests know about what the price should be and they go for astronomical amounts of money...

    hacksaw blade here . worked oyt pretty good . then a small butane torch to conture the foam . looks like real rock after its done

    I had noticed this too. A few things i was looking at were way out priced and people were bidding on them 7 days out running prices up . I`m like larry why would you bid on something 7 days out?:eek: that is just crazy
