    Need help identifying a locomotive

Ebay shipping is hellish to NZ, that's why I never use it. I'm talking with someone at Bachmann right now to see if they have the one part I desperately need, if all else fails I will just buy a similar screw from hob-bits as KriegslokBR52 suggested.

Only the one, I think I'm also missing the bushing that separates the side rods from rubbing against the connecting rod for the same side

    Need help identifying a locomotive

Really the only part that I need, which I can't make at home, is just one screw for the valve gear that connects the side rods to the connecting rod and the eccentric crank

The only parts I need are the universal ones like washers, screws and one...

I'll give it a shot, thanks for the insight I never even thought of doing this 😅

    Need help identifying a locomotive

I purchased a broken Bachmann a while ago, it has the infamous split gears issues that most (if not all) Bachmann split chassis had. I ended up getting it send away for repair just for it to come back without being fixed unfortunately. So I put it in a box and didn't look at it for a few years...

    Greetings from New Zealand

Hello all engineers and railfans! I was once a young boy celebrating his birthday when all of a sudden I was gifted my first ever train set, a Bachmann N scale "Thunder Valley" train set. All it had was a Santa Fe GP40, a boxcar, a tanker, a caboose and an oval of track but that was all enough...
