    Chad, you might want to try spraying ink as a test to see if the problem is the airbrush or the paint.

    Blowing thinner through works a couple times. After several uses I'm willing to bet that there is a small amount of dried paint ether on the needle or in the tip. It only takes a little bit of dried paint to make an airbrush malfunction.

    Airbrush Question...

    The needle might not be close enough to the tip or slipping in the needle chuck. I had the same problem once. I took my airbrush completely apart and cleaned every part really good. It worked ok when I put it back together. What I figured out was that I previously had assembled it incorrectly.

    I drew windows out on paper. Then covered the drawing with wax paper so I could use a tiny drop of white glue to hold the wood in place. I started with the mutins. Then added the rails and upper and lower sash. Then built the frame around them. It was fairly easy, but very time consuming...

    I had a small compressor similar to that. It was very loud and it wouldn't put out a smooth supply of air. It worked ok for years and I got a lot of use out of it. Now I'm using a larger compressor with a 2 gallon tank. It's much better and it doesn't run all the time. I wish it had a 4 or 5...

    I have the cheapest Dremel. I got a keyless chuck for it. That saves a lot of time. I have it plugged into a lamp dimmer switch for speed control. It works great.

    I have 2 Brekina A-100 vans. They're really well done. I think I'm pretty well set on cars. I probably wont attach any to the diorama. I want to make it so I can change it a lot for different photo ops. I'm going to use this diorama for a chapter in my next book.
