I'm going to be building another Orange harvesting machine for a big company here in town for a real good salary. He found out I was selling all my trains & would have an empty building...

    Remotoring Athearns

I've used Kato, Stewart & Bachmann Spectrum motors in Athearn engines before. I just mounted them w/clear Silicone. I see how to level the motor in the frame & if it needs some shims in the frame I add small washers under the motor wherever is needed w/superglue & then I set the motor...

    Larry's MRR Empire Vol.#5

I had Back surgery 2 yrs. ago & all the pain went away until about 3 weeks ago. I was laying under the layout on my Chariot & the old back went out. Stayed in bed for about 3 days & now I'm back on pain-pills every morning. My legs have really been giving me a fit everyday & my feet are even...

    Putting out a A.P.B.

If we worried about spelling in every post we wouldn't ever post anything. I was the best speller in school from the 1st thru the 12th grade & all my friends always remembered that. If I saw them in a crowd, they would say, "here's the best speller in all of our years in school. Well, I got a...

When I bought from Calif. Models about 1975 those kits were cheap. LOL I had in the Matboard kits the #71,74,82,87,88,563 & the Metal buildings #22 w/3 of them connected together. On my metal bldg. I framed up the windows w/1/8th balsa so they were inset. Then I added a loading dock floor...

    Prestage Tool & Gear

All of those Metal buildings were originally made by California Models. I made about 6 of their buildings back in the early 70's & soldered all of them together. I also had 5 of their Cardboard(heavy mat)buildings. The one I can remember the most was the Furniture warehouse made out of Cardboard...
