    Why can't you replace the rear drivers? If you could remove the cover plate, all you would need to do is unscrew the hexhead bolts from the connecting rods.     I would recommend converting to Kadee's. If the original couplers are mounted on the trucks, it will depend on how the originals are mounted. Frankly, the best thing would be to change out the trucks and then body-mount Kadee couplers to the reefers. You will have fewer problems that way.
