    Thank you for the reply. I tested the battery, put in a new one, it's a full 9 volts, duracell. I've tried resetting the unit numerous times. Interestingly, if I turn it off, turn it back on, it will work for a number of trips, and then stop. I'm no electronics expert, but I believe that if...

    It just stops after about 5-6 times going back and forth. If I turn it off, and turn it back on, it does the same thing. Nothing is hot, I'm really at a loss with this thing.
