A freelanced HO railroad set in No. Calif. which includes the ATSF, SP, UP and UPMD (Union Pacific Mountain Devision). The KSL serves coal and logging operations and interchange with the UPMD. Motive power is mostly steam (KSLRR is all steam) with some 1st and 2nd gen diesel (EMD:E8, F7, GP18. DD40AX; Alco: RS2, C430, C630; GE; 40 ton, U25B) and big steam (Challenger, Big Boy, FEF, Northern, 2-8-8-2 Mallet, AC-12 Cab Forward, Hudson J3).
