    The problem may actually not be the programming but the Digitrax Loco roster instead. Clear your loco roster on your command station then try running the loco again.

    Factory Reset CV: 08

    Keep in mind. "Some" decoders only return you to the last saved file condition of the decoder using CV8=8. If you want to have a factory reset condition, you should save original settings of the decoder to a factor condition file before programming and setting any CV.

    Elmer's Wood Glue has been my choice for building wood kits. A very this coat then clamp the parts. You'll have a welded joint. The clamping part is essential to a good welded joint.

    Turntable Problems

    what problems in particular are you referring too? I have the 90 TT with digitized indexing. It only dropped all the settings once, about a year ago. Other than that, it's very reliable and is a point of interest to operators during an op session.

    BLI engines

    I have about 35 BLI locos. Eight are steamers, the rest diesels. I think the most common complaint about them is the decoders, Paragon 1, 2, 3 and 4 and the QSI. The decoders can be replaced with Tsunami or ESU decoders which I have done after the decoder failed. The mechanics are mostly good.

    Staging - is it really necessary?

    yep, staging gives ya the place to conveniently store cars on the rails that would otherwise crowd the main layout. Someday, maybe in the not so distant future, you're going to buy another piece of rolling stock that ya just have to have. You're gonna go to your layout and put it on the tracks...

    Who buys Athearn's rtr locomotives

    I have a nice U50 that is an Athearn RTR model. Some weathering and a sound decoder makes it one of the envy's of the op sessions.

    How do you keep your rolling stock from rolling?

    I forgot to mention, I have the little bristles a few places along the track in the industries so cars can be spotted at several places. Once again, keeping them short so they just touch the axles so the car can be pushed or pulled over them without derailing is important.
