Or simply click around a time or two before you start to reply. If you've been logged out, it will pop up when you try to go to a new page.

Sorry about that. If it happens again, copy the text before hitting refresh and then you can just paste it back in.

Sorry, I cannot divulge that information, it's top secret.
Well, not really but I honestly don't know. It seems random to me, sometimes it asks, other times I get right in.

Find someone with one of those jump start battery boxes. They work great and will let you see if the battery is the issue. I have one I bought at Costco, it’s handy.

Exactly, once in a while it seems to choke. Click refresh, click the little box if it asks and then you'll be in. I'm gone this weekend, so it's cranked down pretty tight right now.

I’ve used cloudflare for years on my links directory pages. But it wasn’t as good for forums since part of how it works is caching content. That used to cause problems but now Xenforo has integrated it into the program as an option. Most forums use it.

I hate those deceptive ads with a passion. But running Google ads is the only way I can come close to breaking even on the place.
I've banned the worst ones, like online gambling and crypto, but there's only so much you can do.

The initial human verification app worked well for about a day, but then it was met with a DDOS attack. That is a "Dedicated Denial of Service" attack where they simply overwhelm the forum.
Given that problem, I went with the industry standard, Cloudflare. Can't keep that one as secret as they...

The spammer just kept hammering, so I went one step further. The site is now protected by Cloudflare.
That means no more clicking "I am human", though you will see a Cloudflare security checkpoint at various places.

Yeah, some annoyed hacker in Singapore didn't like being blocked and he is/was doing a DDOS attack on the place. Working on blocking him.
