    I have used tap water with Acrylics for a wash, with good results. It does dry quick though.

    Update! The first hurdle was to modify the base in order to fit my existing turntable. My TT was slightly larger than what the Atlas 'O' RH base was designed for. I ended up cutting off 3/4" off the base front.

    Parts that are no longer made or hard to find! More specific, Gears! I get a lot of people asking, "My gear has worn out, where can I get a replacement" [I deal in repair O gauge]

    Hello!

    I just found this forum, and thought I would check it out! I have been into Model trains, off and on, for over 40yrs. I'm retired now, so I'm in the process of building and re-build my 5th and final layout. I will have a lot of questions and hopefully be able to contribute. Thanks for having me!
