With plastic roadbed probably need to remove the rail joiners and solder the wire to the bottom or side of each joiner and then reinstall.
 
I see from their website that each piece of straight track has a removable piece of roadbed for power feeders. Elsewhere on their website is a PDF showing how to hook up their part A0008 feeder cable to that piece of track. Click here: Power feeder hook up. Lots of other stuff on their website under "Products" and then "Accessories".
