Yes, some of you guys have some really super scenicking skills. I would have to say my overall favorite shot is this one...

I love the rusty rails and grass and weeds. Superb effects Ray.

Thank you sir!

That photo was one of several I used as documentation of my work for the NMRA Achievement Program Scenery Certificate.

Under construction, just recently got it wired up.

I'll go first, here is my small 6 track yard. Still a work in progress, but this is what I have so far.

Comments, suggestions welcomed.

Did you get a DM&E MofW truck done yet?

Nice pics and good work so far!:)

@ Bill,I like the mirror trick!
Thanks
You really captured the scenery good for Western U.S.

My mirror originally lined up with the bench work before I added a leg off the side for my 15 stall round house. Before that people thought I had a window to another room.

There looks to be at least 70 locos in that yard, not enough, I can still see some track !!!!.:D

I'm afraid to say it's much worse than that. A little more then twice that at any one time on the layout. Carl, who is going to turn 80 in a few weeks, is an locomotive nut. I'm going there tonight, I'l take some shots of the other engine facility, freight yard and caboose yard and post them here.
If anyone made the NMRA national convention in St. Louis in 2001 Carl's layout was one of the featured layouts on the bus tour. We had people there from all over the world, it was a great time. Over the years we've had visitors like Tony Koester, Allan Mcclelland and John Armstrong. I think how lucky I was to meet a guy like Carl in the hobby shop and be asked to be part of such a nice railroad. He's a heck of a modeler and still going strong at near 80.
As for DCC he won't switch, he's a DC man all the way.

I am a little late getting in on this. Man there are some great looking yards in this. All are good looking. here are some pics of what I have.
