A little late with my post, but I got a bit of scenery done in the train room over the past few days...

This is the area to the right of the hillside/mountain scene I have been working on. The above is just the start of the forest. The next step, to put in the brush along the edge of it:

Still have more to do there, just waiting for the glue to dry. Here is the area right next to the hillside and you can get a better idea of how it will turnout when done:

Will be interested to see how they turn out. having been built "in situ" rather than "pre built" and then planted.

It is my usual way of developing a forest. That way the "branches" can be intertwined easily as they are put in place, and the foliage can be added as needed later.
