Hills and Cliffs

Have been working on this end of the layout for a bit now. The other side of my layout has some industry, town setting, etc. On this end I wanted to leave it a bit more 'sparse' and devoid of human intervention and really get into a natural setting.....

Much more to do with foliage and etc....

Its not a photo but it shows progress as of Dec 2012. I will be doing another update next week for the 1 year anniversary since construction began. Yes.. I know, it has 3 rails! ;)

Well... I did pick up a Genesis loco from an LHS that is going out of business.
everthing is %50 off right now so picked up all kinds of goodies actually.

Got all the railings installed inside the shop, installed the satellite dishes on the roof, and some more details outside the shop. Still have more small details to add.

Wow! That diesel shop looks fricking awesome! Please tell me more about it? I never seen that kit before?

That looks exactly like the shop at the UP Baley Yard in Nebraska.
