The train runs on 3 km of track between the resort and town.

Very interesting, especially as I live "just up the road, across the border". Was this track part of the NSW network at some time? The fact that it has it's own Right of Way would suggest that was so, it would be pretty expensive to acquire land these days for something like this. Great to see the use of revitalized heritage equipment.

According to their website in the history section the line is part of 132 km Casino to Murwillumbah line. The prices to ride are pretty good as well.
