who sells smoking units/genneritors? what to put one in my bowser T1 duplex..I want one thats puts out the smoke..
Check out Walthers catalog for Seuthe units. If I didn't spell the German name right, just do a seach on smoke generators. Great if you want an oily residue all over the engine and surrounding areas!

You speeled it correctly...

Depending on the model of Seuthe smoke unit, the closer you wrap the heater wire together, the more smoke you get.
I have a smoke unit in an Aristocraft G scale caboose. I put pine scented smoke fluid in it at Christmas time, it does make the house smell more, umm, "Chrissmassy". It gets regular fluid the rest of the year.
And before you ask, I got a big bottle of it about 10 years ago from Michael's.
smoke units in locomotives.......wouldn't touch'em with a 10ft pole!
I think they're kinda neat. Just don't put oil in 'em.

I have the Seuthe units for my Genesis Steam locomotives. After trying them a few times, I pulled them out and do not use them any more.
Main reason for not using them anymore: the oily mess all around the track.
The oily mess from the smoke is why I have stayed away from them.
