I will say, 3D media is an insulator and not a conductor.

So you mean like the windows in your image? I could definitely do that (If that is what you mean).
Can I just say those windows are stunning! Is there actually a interior? Or is that a image?
Cool. I might be able to do that. Noted.I'm looking for a rock crusher mounted on a semi-trailer. I think Cox made one years ago. Only one I found on thingiverse is a self propelled N scale with no windows in the cab.
Cool. Yeah, if you have files that you already like, then I don't eve need to make the model (But If you need me to, that's fine as wellYes, the window frames I’d love to get 3d printed.
The ones I have made are very thin and weak. I then ended up adding evergreen scale model i beams for the framing but it’s all so wonky looking. If you could or want to try I’d love to work something out. Tell me what files you need and I will get them created
The interior is 1” deep. That is a photo on the back wall and the lighting is a defused LED in the ceiling. I had Ai combine photos of parts Imput together including my interior photo and that is the result.
Is this what you were talking about? I could use it as a base.I'm looking for a rock crusher mounted on a semi-trailer. I think Cox made one years ago. Only one I found on thingiverse is a self propelled N scale with no windows in the cab.
I believe a thin fluted side panel that could be added to the side of an E6 body would work.I need an EMC E5 body both A and B units that fit the Proto-2000 E6 frame.
You mean instead of modeling the whole shell? Sorry if I am not following.I believe a thin fluted side panel that could be added to the side of an E6 body would work.
That looks great. Is that 1piece? How big is that?BOOM! Here is a draft I just did. Don't know if this is what you meant or not.
Its the size you gave me (2.5” x 5”) and IS one piece. Again, just a draft. I would tweak individual window spacing as needed. That looks great. Is that 1piece? How big is that?
I’m really sorry for missing this! I appreciated just your thoughts of creating this. I am using my iPhone reading this but will respond when I get home in a couple hours. I know I asked a question about the size this morning and ur respond. I’m re-reading this weeks postings and found this response I missedCool. Yeah, if you have files that you already like, then I don't eve need to make the model (But If you need me to, that's fine as well. Just let me know). Did you see the model I mocked up in this thread?
I can print them for sure, so I will keep you posted on getting my printer set back up (Been needing parts off and on, but we have a second larger printer my Dad is trying to set up). Depending on the windows size (And if you want them printed as ONE WHOLE window) I may have to wait to use that larger printer anyway. But yes, I could do it.

Yes instead of a whole shell. You mean instead of modeling the whole shell? Sorry if I am not following.
Also, in you other reply, what signs were you suggesting?
Give me a idea of what you mean, and I could most likely do it. I am not very knowledgeable when it comes to prototype differences.Yes instead of a whole shell.
I've been working on finding a technical diagram of the signs I was talking about. It was at a convention, and I'm having to remember which convention to track down the author.

Came across this when this older thread popped up again. I am pretty sure HO scale size small animals (squirrels), birds and bird houses/feeders would not be doable with a FDM printer, check out this site for resin printed pieces: https://miniprints.comHO scale animals, smaller ones like squirrels; birds and bird feeders. I want to add a "can you find it?" for kids or adults that act like kids.
