What to do with older engines

I recently bought a box of ho scale trains from a flea market. A few of the engines that were in side that grabbed my attention are in non working order. So im wondering what would be the best route for them.

first is a athearn emd sw7 B&N #134 & the second is a athearn emd F45 B&N #6615

both had a good amount of rust on the wheels, trucks and up into the motors. i got the motors broke loose so they spin and claned the rust off of everything, but nothing still, so i can only assume the motors are shot.

Any thoughts on what to do with these?

could you sell them at a flea market?

seriously, remove the worm gears (which will allow the wheels to turn) and the motors and use them as dead in tow units.

Form a deadline in a yard.
