Right next door to ya Bud!
Oh sure the summers are short and can be stifling hot and you get eaten alive by 'skeeters and in the winter you freeze your tookis off and have to drive slow so the snowplows can follow you to figure out where the road used to be... but it's still home sweet home.

Actually it's not all as bad as that. :D

I used to love Going to Ontario for racing as I only live 30 min away, but now with the border crossing being such a PITA I haven't been over in awhile.

I was stationed in Newfoundland in 1957 & 58 & loved it & would love to go back some day. I correspond w/a friend from there now on emails. Beautiful part of the world.
I was only 19 & 20 years old then. Probably be a little different now.

funny how Manitoba sounds just exactly like Ontario today.

Fiend540, Racing at Fort Erie is alive and well for the coming year, so you should come up and spend a day.
I usually drop in to the backstretch later in the season to pick up cheap horses.

Heh wrong type of racing, I used to venture over the border yearly to see some Dirt Track car racing as well as hitting up Mosport every couple of years. The issue now is you either need one of those advanced Licenses or a passport to get across the border and well I'm not shelling up the money for either.

okay, you won't be seeing me in the backstretch as Mosport. :D :D

although, many years ago, I DID go to race car school. learned to drive indy cars. what a BLAST.
