Taken by an engineer buddy who has helped me out tremendously. I can't remember what kind of horn this is. I have the stand for it, but need to order or pick it up before wednesday.

what's the roadname? loco number? hertiage of the loco?

It looks like a K5LA with 2 bells facing the rear. Pan Am Railways has a few of them on their GP35s.

You can read the Nathan stamping on the rear of the horn housings. If it's a modern engine, there's about a 90% chance it will be a Nathan P5 or P3, since Leslie got out of the horn business in the late 80's.

Its the Susquehanna's SD40T-2 3014. Its former Southern Pacific 8321. What it was numbered under UP I have no idea. P5 does sound familiar.

Nope, Details West and Detail Associates also make them and they look better than the Cal Scale version, IMHO.

Search for "Nathan" in the advanced search with HO and Super detail parts as the categories and they will show up.
