It's a rough approximation of a Fairbanks-Morse C-Liner, aka "Consolidated Line" locomotive.

I don't believe Santa Fe actually ever operated any C-Liners in reality. However, they did have one A-B-A set of Fairbanks-Morse's first streamlined diesel locomotive, which is known as an FM "Erie-Built" (because construction was subcontracted out to GE in Erie, PA). The "Erie-Built" looks vaguely similar but has a longer nose, different side panels, and three-axle trucks.

Another nit pick, is that even if Santa Fe had operated these locos they would have been painted in the blue and yellow freight scheme, not the silver and red passenger style.

I have a set of these locos painted for Northern Pacific (also never existed in real life) but they were not a bad running locomotive for the time period they are from.
