Temple Railroad and Heritage Museum

I found myself in Temple, TX the other day, and was able to convince the family to go down and check out the museum there. I wasn't aware how active Temple is in BNSF operations, and found there was a ton of stuff. If there is anything on the Santa Fe that people want to know, then Temple seems to be the place for it (they have a repository for information).

It's a shame that a lot of their rolling stock and locomotives on display aren't protected from the elements and vandals. They have some nice things there.

Has anyone been here? Where do you railfan if you've been? I think I was mainly impressed that I was seeing something other than Harbor Mist and Armor Yellow, as there was a good mix of Cascade Green, Heritage, Heritage 2, Heritage 3, Warbonnet, and "Barstow". Until the other day, I had never in my life seen, outside of photos or models, the blue and yellow paint called Barstow. We didn't get too many of Santa Fe in South Mississippi. ;)
