HO all the way!
A while back I started a thread on here somewhere about looking for a specific type of sea can (container). I never really got much of a response, but one member said that they had a few of what I was looking for. I asked them to post pics, but they never did so guess what I scratch built?? Its almost finished now with custom decaling and pics will be posted soon. I think it looks pretty sweeeet!!! Any guesses???

When I saw the topic I thought maybe your landlord came over and saw the "right of way easement" that your railroad had recently obtained!!:D

Burlington Bob....Nope...not yet haha. Still waiting for that suprise. Good thing the Landlord lives 14 hrs away. I was informed earlier from my custom painter that my project will be finished tomorrow night, with weathering and decaling. I saw it last night, and I am really looking forward to the final product...pics will follow ASAP

OK guys....here is the one and only model of these that I have found after hours of scouring the internet for pictures!! This is my showcase model and I plan to build more in the near future. This one is represented as being approx 10 yrs old, n never washed, but the next one I do will be a brand new one all bright n shiny...

WPC is the official reporting mark for WESTERN PLAINS (Western Plains Corp.) and this will also be displayed on all rolling stock owned and repainted by WPC!!!

Just so I dont forget, I built this from a plain ol 40' can, making my own louvered vents and frames, man door and the recessed electrical plugs...but the decalling, painting and weathering are huge credits to UPbigboy (member here)...THANKS Jim!!!

This is the one and only WPC #1550 Power Box...you guys should know what this is...

Now for the pics \/ \/ \/ \/ \/

First gotta bring it from the build/paint/weathering shop by truck...A brand new 2000 Kenworth K100 Aerodyne!! (the green tape strips are supposed to be 4" straps holding it to the trailer, but I was in a hurry to get it on the layout so I didnt bother painting them yellow)

Here it is sitting in a brand new Atlas 48' well car (remember, the WPC is based on 1995-2000 era) ready to be fired up and power some reefer cans!!!

Yes guys, I am looking into putting a decoder into it for the generator sounds....haha beat you all to it!

Generator sounds and blinky lights(?), cool project C!
I used to hook those things up on trains, swinging cables and climbing cars. A great way to kill yourself, especially in the dark!
I've seen those stacked in cars lately, never used to put anything on top of them when I worked them.
