We past photo fun and went straight to the information kiosk. Somebody ask directions on how to get back to the photo exhibit. Darn it, this is the most curious museum I have ever been to!

No problem! I left the lantern out for you....

Re-hijack...
Josh, that Icee truck would make a great surveillance post for the FBI :) Which department is the FFD? I'm not familiar with them. Is that the Federal Fire Department and, if so, where do they operate out of and which facilities do they serve? That's a really old box on the back, which is why they need the external air unit for the patient compartment. The newer ones have the A/C ducted from the engine back to the patient compartment. That sure would be an easy one to decal - I don't think I've ever seen an ambulance with less markings.
Yeah, Federal Fire Department. They operate in the Navy bases in the area. The Marine Corp Bases use Marine Corps Fire Departments, not fed fire.

Very nice trucks.

...and the "Photo Fun" went to..?? :D

There's TONS of photos in there!

Ray...That's a great pic of that lantern....Is the structure a caboose with a "terrace" around it..?? How about a pic with the "lights" on..??

Yeah Ray, howzabout a daylight pic! The lights are great, but inquiring minds want to know whats there by the light of day too!

Yeah, besides, I posted a picture of my helicopter. :)

How about one when my layout was still under construction? Looks a little different now. I've always thought we should have a "Now and Then" thread. I'll take apicture from the same vantage point tomorrow for comparison.

How it looks today. Still have to get up the fascia and I really hate the backdrop but, otherwise, I think it looks a little better. At least the focus is better :)

It's the "temporary" freight house that has been there for many years now (The original burned). (That's my story and I'm sticking to it....) The dock is a scratch and the freight house was from an old Pocher Overton Combine.

wow jim!!!

that's alot smaller than it looks!! ya do a good job with the perspectives...

That's very creative, Ray, and a great scene! The lighted lantern is a nice touch.

Jim, that is just a great town scene. DJ.
