Nice work on those CR MAC's Mark! Were the red markers used for leading or just helper service?

Conrail didn't use many helpers but they did use the Markers on them and mainly on light power moves. I remember seeing many power moves around my area with as many little as 2 units to as many as 20 at some times. It all depended on traffic and if there was more eastbound traffic then westbound then you would see a power move at the end of the week. Now with CSX things have changed a bit and you rarely see that.

Mark, again nice work on those macs. My big macs might be arriving soon. I might be able to order a tsunami decoder this week.

As for the markers, it seems NS was completely anti-marker lights. They removed them from all the former CR engines that had them. CSX on the other hand just left them. Occasionally you see them running with them lit up here on the CSX Riverline.

Nice work by all again.

I figured I should show the finished wagon that I posted a couple weeks ago here. Made from one of those small Athearn 'pups'.

Johnny, I'm Kinda suprised PTB&B circus hasn't contracted you to build them a set of models to display down here in their florida home office yet! You could make a buck or two!!!!!!!!!!

Johnny, compared to what you do, I'm just playing with trains. The things you build are quite impressive and in a different league. Keep up the good work.

Nice job to everyone else as well.:)

Hello everyone! Beautiful work all the way around as usual. Here's my humble contribution to the cause, hope you all enjoy.

This is the renovated Palace Theater in Neenah. Despite being in an awful location, facing the tracks, being built over when the city raised Upper Nowak avenue, and years of neglect it has survived. Now the once Tina's Tart Shoppe and one time bank again sports it's marque with knife handle sign and marble returned to the lower facade.

There it is, my first steamer ! Its a Rivarossi Northern. I just installed a dcc decoder in it & cleaned gearing and pickups. It is easily older than me but has a level of detail that would make jalous some manifacturer:)

Hey Chris,

thanks for the nice words. The Ringling Museum @ John Ringlings house in Sarasota has an AMAZING 1/2"scale RBBB circus that would blow you away. It is so well done, I swear if you could shrink to the scale, you could run the equipment!!! Google it, the pics are incredible!!

Well Corey, thank you. But after all, aren't we all just playing with trains?:)

I appreciate your fondness of my work.

Johnny
