OK, I did the wheel sets and trucks, so I figured I'd show how I also do the under bodies of freight cars. So without further ado............
Here's 3 Walthers Autoracks fresh out of the box.
Here's the same parts with a coat of Floquils grimey black.
And here are the bodies with the metal weight being rusted together. I always spray heavy where the wheels would splash rust/dirt upwards under the car. Most people will never see this, but I like to do it.
And the last parts are the frame assemblies.
Then it's just a matter of weathering the cars, and final assembly. But that will be later on
