We had a special visitor Blackwing today.

The John Bull came out on tour today.

It arrived on several flatcars.


It was placed on the rails and gave the fans some rides.


I bought this Bachmann model back in the early 90s I think and it's been sitting in the box ever since. It actually does run.

I have one of these sets as well, I'm always impressed that it runs. Feels so delicate, and there's almost no weight to any of the pieces. I've only taken it out a handful of times, but the box is pretty worn. I inherited from an uncle, maybe it got a lot of use then?

I like the idea of putting on a flat car. Nice scene, something fun to break up the routine.
