In Need of 2 MRC Transformers. Either a 9000 or a 9500 MRC for DC only. I already have 1 9500. Need 2 more. Adding 2 more mainlines to layout.

Larry, I did a quick search on eBay, and I didn't see either one. But I guess you already knew that.

Can I ask why it must be either of those transformers? Aren't most DC transformers the same? I'm mostly a Lionel AC guy and I'm curious.

After another search I found this, and I see it is not your average DC controller.

I like these 2 because of the constant power & they have a volt & ammeter built in. I already have a 9000 that I use on my Mainline & switching tracks. On the other 2 mainlines, 1 freight & 1 passenger I'm useing 2 old MRC transformers. Probably around march or April I'm going to add 2 more raised main lines & that's what these are for.
