I've got a GP 50 Demonstrator that I'm adding the details to, I thought everything was in the packet but I'm missing two cylinder sets (4) for it, if anyone has any that are surplus, I'm willing to pay for them plus postage and any other costs involved (Gas etc.)

Please PM me.
Thanks

I have no spares, matter of fact I am missing one myself. But I understand that the Blomberg M types from older GP7's, 9;s. GP30's etc., will also work if you have any of them.

If you can put a picture up I’ll check my parts stash.
There usually attached to the shock strut on the sprue.

Athearn has them for $8 including the shock strut, but they don't ship to the UK, Those firms that will ship to the UK don't have any, and those that do have them don't ship to the UK.:(

Okay I have three kinds, pretty sure the ones on the left are the ones you need?
Crappy pic for some reason…

I don't know if you're aware, but the dash-2 models only had one brake cylinder per side of truck, the other side got a shock instead.

Looking at the exploded view on the paperwork it shows one on either side plus a shock, so unless the paperwork is wrong ? or it's got mixed up and it's not for this model that's what I've done, and they're all flipping glued into place now. :(

Yes, each sideframe gets one cylinder and one shock.

Here's lovely green and black GP39-2 with the "Blomberg M" trucks. Looking at the sideframe, to the left is a brake cylinder and to the right a shock absorber. Older Athearn Blomberg Ms had simulated rubber pads instead of the springs shown below but the added detail parts should be interchangeable.
