I have lots of 40 and 45’ if you are looking. I can post pictures in the morning. That 45' looks great. I've only seen 20, 40 and 53's. Are they still available?
I just wasn't aware of 45's. On my layout, i'll likely only have 3 intermodal cars. Every day I see a new shiny object which makes my original 4 x 8 Falls Creek plan feeling quite inadequate. I think I'm up to 50+ rolling stock cars already. I'm now looking at the Black River Junction layout with a few possible modifications.I have lots of 40 and 45’ if you are looking. Up in Canada, it would probably be $75 per container.Yes and one company Aurora Miniatures has the rear doors that open.

They appear to be a simple blow-molded piece of plastic with no add-on details and simple graphics but 3 packs are about $50 when I last checked. No joke….
At a min 50-60 once shipping and tax is added….
If I ever need any, I think I'll be trying a couple 3d prints before ordering from somewhere....They appear to be a simple blow-molded piece of plastic with no add-on details and simple graphics but 3 packs are about $50 when I last checked.I wish they sold mixed set sizes as I think I will end up with a few extras, though I'm sure I could put them to use as static displays.
There are sellers that offer containers made from cardstock. They print colors and graphics on it, and you fold it into a standard=looking container. They look very good from 3 feet away or more, making them good for background items. If I ever need any, I think I'll be trying a couple 3d prints before ordering from somewhere....![]()
