I realize these can handle a 53' stacked container, but does anybody know the overall length of these cars? Around 60 feet?

Yes 60’

Hope this helps

I have lots of 40 and 45’ if you are looking. I can post pictures in the morning.
I just wasn't aware of 45's. On my layout, i'll likely only have 3 intermodal cars. Every day I see a new shiny object which makes my original 4 x 8 Falls Creek plan feeling quite inadequate. I think I'm up to 50+ rolling stock cars already. I'm now looking at the Black River Junction layout with a few possible modifications.

Here’s the pictures I promised of HO Scale containers that I have remaining for sale

19 containers 45’

40’ containers 32 of them

If you are looking for something special or specific I do have other 20’, 40’, 45’ or 53’ containers that I’m not adverse to selling off. But if you really are looking HO scales containers are available easily on EBay and Facebook buy/sell groups

Have fun, it’s a great hobby

No joke….:(

At a min 50-60 once shipping and tax is added….
They appear to be a simple blow-molded piece of plastic with no add-on details and simple graphics but 3 packs are about $50 when I last checked. :( I wish they sold mixed set sizes as I think I will end up with a few extras, though I'm sure I could put them to use as static displays.

If I ever need any, I think I'll be trying a couple 3d prints before ordering from somewhere....;)

There are sellers that offer containers made from cardstock. They print colors and graphics on it, and you fold it into a standard=looking container. They look very good from 3 feet away or more, making them good for background items.

Guys! 40’ and. 45’ containers new in box should be no more than $10ea. They are available at FB sales sites and eBay.

53’ containers especially if they are Amazon Prime, WaltMart, JbHunt and Schneider are a different story. I’ve sold 3 packs of the Amazon from Scaletrains for $120 after they 1st came out, crazy but it was the going price. Now it really depends but for the above named 53’ containers I list them for $25 each and they sell. But I have none left

I’ve been selling 40’ and 45’ for $8 each plus shipping in groups of 10 if anyone wants some
