Is anyone having trouble uploading pictures ? My files are under 400k and I've always been able to post my images but for the last two days all I get is.....site not found! I've turned off my security system and it's not that. I wonder if this site is having trouble ???? HELP!
Are you using the Manage Attachments utility? This site's photo server might be at capacity, or having other issues. If you get yourself a free account with Photobucket (which is where Smoke's picture above is hosted) you can simply insert links to your pictures. I've been using Photobucket for a few years now and I'm quite pleased with it.
Ok that went alright. The uploaded photo is shown as a reduced size clickable photo. This is normal for the site.
Cheers Willis
PS one more note, after you add (upload)the photo, don't use the preview function, if you do it's possible to lose the link to your photo and it won't be uploaded when you click on save
I've used this before with no trouble. I wanted to add more images to my thread...superior bakery revisited.
I think you're right. This thing might be maxed out. I'll have to try that photo bucket thing if it dosen't work again. Can't let everyone see my finished diorama unless I can get this to work
Hi Larry I'm not aware of there being a limit to the amount of photos you can load to a thread, you certainly don't have as many photos uploaded as there are in some of the weekend photo fun threads.
PHOTO BUCKET to the rescue ! Thanks everyone ! I just figured out how to link my picures. Now I'm happy. I can finish my " Superior bakery revisited " thread with new pictures.
