Trix Big Boy with ESU Decoder

I bought this Trix model in 2001. I installed an NCE sound decoder in it back then which was a basic steam. Didn't produce the 4 cylinder sound. Finally got around to installing a V.5 DCC ESU decoder and a downloaded sound file project from ESUs web page.

I'm glad it worked out for you. I would have liked to hear the loco lift a train and hear the distinct, or discrete, chuffs in slow time.

Good point. I thought most here would just want to see it running down the rails.
I'll break out the cam again this evening and capture some slow speed stuff as well as under load sound.

6:04.... I love the very last clickety-clacks over the joined rail before the tunnel...gives it that sort of 'last goodbye in 'train talk' ....
