Maybe this question has been asked before, and I apologise i it has - but does any one know if a model has ever been made of the Trans-Siberian or Mongolian train? And if so, who produced the prototype?
Thanks for any help. I have searched high and low, and can't find anything.
None that I know of. If there were any, they were probably produced in the old Soviet Union. The passenger equipment was very close to US prototypes, as were the original steam engines, except for the gauge difference. If I remember right, the normal steam power was 4-8-4 Pacifics so it should be possible to kitbash a near replica of the engine and passenger cars.
