Escape that nasty weather some of you are experiencing this winter, and come have some fun running trains in Florida.

Perhaps spend a week or two running some of my very fine HO trains on my dbl-deck 12x22 foot layout inside a shed located in my carport driveway. Both steam and diesel engines on lots of track and industrial spurs.

I have the layout fully wired up with the NCE Procab system, with multiple hammerhead & wireless controllers, and safety power districts. About half of my engines are decoder equipped, and the other half need help with installations. There is also a need for tuning multiple lashups, learning JMRI, and helping me learn how to fully utilize DCC,..(I’ve been having trouble with all this CV stuff, etc)

I’m an older single man living alone in a very nice big mobile home not far from the center of St Augustine, Florida (oldest city in USA),...nice scenery, nice walking town, great weather.

I have a spare bedroom with a nice single/twin size bed, and a living room with a nice long couch, and full size kitchen with big refrig.

I’m offering free room, ...limited boarding.

...and fun running some trains

I think that the Florida thing is scaring folks off!;) I personally don't mind the heat being from North Central Texas, but the humidity and insects always got to me. Besides, I'm a DC modeler and couldn't be much help anyway.

Humidity is not bad this time of the year,...neither is the heat. No sand fleas in my area, and very few mosquitoes in my neighborhood.
Actually our weather has been great, other than a few cool spells the north's been sending us. My blood has thinned out and I am more aware of coolness than I use to be.

BTW Willie, I have quite a bit of Santa Fe on my layout,...the upper deck
